Don't worry, we're hoping there won't be much of either, but we do ask you to review our previous note about the best attire for a fall wedding in the San Luis Valley. We plan to spend the next week busily preparing the site for the wedding, including raking and mowing and moving downed limbs, but good, sturdy shoes/heels are a strong suggestion, as well as a jacket or shawl.
Please consult the Google map posted below for directions to the wedding site. We'll also have signs posted from the highway all the way to the site.
Looking forward to seeing everyone! Safe travels!

Three Weeks Away!
Hi everyone,
Hopefully your plans are coming together for the big day. We are so excited you can come!
We have posted our registry on the side panel to the right, but are also asking for financial contrubutions towards a wood stove for our new nest. If you choose to contribute, just put a note on your gift indicating it's for the wood stove.
Also, for all out of town guests, we will be sending out emails in the coming week inviting you to a italian dinner and bowling party at the San Luis Valley Pizza Company on Friday night, from 6 to 8:30 ish. This event is generously beiong hosted by Jack and Judy Hildner. Afterwards, folks will be able to gather for a bonfire party in the country, address to be included in the coming week as well.
As always, email us or call if you have questions about lodging, hotels, etc. Can't wait to see everyone!

Suggested Dress for a Fall Wedding in the San Luis Valley
As many of you have now seen on our invitations, our wedding will be outdoors, hopefully during near peak Fall foliage on the Valley floor. With the ceremony starting at 4pm and going into the evening, as well as being in a ranch setting, we recommend you wear comfortable dress shoess and bring a jacket or shawl. We want you to be comfortable and able to enjoy the beautiful setting of the ceremony and reception.

Hi everyone!
Plans for our wedding are progressing slowly but surely. Formal invitations should be mailed out in the next week or so, and details are coming together. The ceremony will take place at the Gilmore Ranch just west of Alamosa, on Saturday afternoon at 4pm. Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location.
More soon...as always, if you have any questions, send us an email or give us a call,
Erin & Matt
